This is Tamiya’s 1/12 scale finished model of the Suzuki RGV XR89 99 No 9 from Tamiya. This is a manufacturing facility-finished model. Tamiya Factory Completed sets are built by Tamiya’s professional in-house craftsmen and designed by hand. The Suzuki RGV-XR89 led team riders Kenny Roberts, Jr. and Nobuatsu Aoki to excellent results in the GP 500cc division at the 1999 World Road Race Championships. The bike was fuelled by a 4-cylinder V-type engine, hoisted up by a twin-tube aluminum frame. With a significantly higher balance to unlock its versatility, K. Roberts, Jr. took four wins including the season’s first two races and won a second-place overall season ranking to show Suzuki ‘s ability.
