Leaving the beaten track of minivans to become a compact sedan, the Mercedes A-Class has given rise to a rather large family of cars; among these derivatives is the GLA, the first compact SUV branded Mercedes and presented in November 2013. Its unconventional forms could make it classified as a higher sedan rather than a true off-road vehicle. This compromise, in any case, favors a more dynamic behavior than competitors. Among the engines, the 200 petrol (156 hp) and the 200-220 turbodiesel, respectively with 136 and 170 hp. After a restyling that took place in January 2017, the GLA came out of the list in 2020.
